Jürgen E. Schrempp continues to be as energetic as always. He still uses his knowledge and contacts to bring people together both in business and in society. One area of activity that is particularly dear to his heart was his work for SAFRI, the Southern Africa Initiative of German Business. He has chaired this initiative since 1996 and is fully convinced of the future sustainability of the Southern African region. Schrempp was also Chairman of the Global Business Coalition (now GBC HEALTH).
